Hijab, by Sunnah or by our desire!

The main purpose of this pic is to clear the concept of hijab...there is a misconception that hijab means only head covering...unfortunately there are many sisters who cover their heads but their body is not fully covered so the main purpose of hijab is not fulfilled. Please learn the way Sunnah way of covering Hijab and try to follow it by heart. We are not forcing anyone to start it now, but we would like message you all to die trying Inshaa`Allah

I don't agree with number five, where in a hadith does it say that? Plus, the pictures of THIS IS NOT HIJAB does go along with the points of covering head to toe with cloths not being tight, transparent, but the tops should be longer to reach below the hips.

The Prophet said on the authority of Ibn `Umar: "Whoever resembles a people in appearance, he is one of them." [Narrated by Abu Dawud (Libas) and Ahmad (2:50, 2:92) with a chain which has some weakness according to Sakhawi in al- Maqasid al-hasana, however he states that its authenticity is verified by other narrations. Also narrated by Ibn Abi Shayba in his Musannaf (5:313), Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari 10:274 [Dar al-Fikr ed.], and Ibn Kathir in his Tafsir (8:53). `Iraqi said its chain is sound (sahih). al-Bazzar also relates it through Hudhayfa and Abu Hurayra, Abu Nu`aym through Anas, and al-Quda`i relates it through Tawus, a chain which Ibn Hibban declared sahih. Ibn Taymiyya in his Iqtida' al-siratal- mustaqim (p. 82) calls Abu Dawud's and Ahmad's chain "a good chain."]

The abaya is an arab culture dress and not Islamic so we are not required to dress like Arabs we are required to cover up. Hijab is about covering up with loose clothing…I have seen highly educated muslim scholars wearing jeans…who on earth would think that a muslim who has her hair covered resembles the non believers because she is not wearing an abaya? Obviously she is a muslim because she is covered..to resemble the non muslims you have to wear clothing that shows the body like shorts and so on...

If we are to consider resembles, then the abaya resembles the non believes during the time of Muhammed pbuh

Islam Sets Me Free @ Sister, number five indicates that if it is so obvious that certain kind of dresses are for certain kind of religious persons only then we need to avoid that. For example, now wearing jeans, caps, high hill shoes are common among all people of the world. We cant say that wearing jeans is for chirstians or wearing this for them or vice versa. As wearing jeans, caps, high hill shoes, ornaments etc now common to all people so wearing jeans is permissible. Number five is only applicable only if we find any dresses that can be identified as dresses for disbelievers then only our duty is to avoid it. But now we are living in a time where there is not such kinda dress exist that can be categorized to this point five except the dresses by Buddhism who wear a kinda red color stuff for themselves. And we all know these kinda red dresses is only for the Buddhism. So the key point of number five indicates that as that kinda red dress identifies someone a follower of Buddha so we must not wear that anywhere. I hope sister I have made this point clear to you now :-)
